I would suggest trying to close the toolbars one at a time and shutting down IE after each shut-down so you can isolate it to a specific toolbar. Those are usually the main culprits for this type of error. If you have more than one stick installed, try alternately removing one stick at a time until the errors stop, then you will know which stick is flaky.
