I exclude license.licx file and now the project build sucessfuly. I changed my assembly name to lower case and suddenly the file could be found and the build continued normally. Bam, your build machine fails the build and Joe, who added the control, has to buy doughnuts for the team until someone else breaks the build. You can reach him directly at [email protected]

This solution worked in most cases, but now4 projects are returning the error message "Could not transform licenses file 'licenses.licx' into a binary resource (1) : error LC0003 :Unable to resolvetype I found a posting that said delete the licenses.licx files and rebuild the project.
