That's quite a pickle. The user has got his system running so the problem is solved until he needs help again. I could not understand what to do to resolve it.......

I have two CD's for XP pro, used both and neither do not work. I'm still leaning towards the CD itself having the issue, but I never rule out hardware, especially on older machines. I was straight forward and to the point.
