orbison, Aug 23, 2006 #2 orbison Messages: 18 Please, any help -- anyone? Your help is appreciated... So I thought maybe it was a problem with the RAM so I ran MemTest86 on the RAM and all tests passed 100%. Well they ended up sending us the wrong disc.
What on earth is wrong? Presuming that you have not altered the BIOS settings, have a look at the ram and if you have two sticks of ram, take one out from the second slot. So at this point I assumed that it was just the disc. Thanks in advance!
not sure if my computer here at work has that ability to burn the CD. If the hard drive passes this test, and if you can boot into the computer using another os, something like knoppix, kanotix, or ubuntu live linux cd is good to test
