Recently I had some pretty bad virus's that changed many things with my start up, programs, and applications such as IE8. However, if this setting has been tampered with you may experience problem in connecting to a desired network. Then enable each plug-in one at a time until IE doesn't work and that's the problem. Still trying to get Option 3 to work, but there are so many add-ons that I cannot even get to it.
